Why bother responding to the thread if you aren't going to read the responses already posted first?

You make yourself looks like an @$$ when you talk crap about something, only to read the thread and find out that you were wrong.

  • I always read them. I don't want to post something that has already been posted.

  • Well, I think it's because the point is to response to the question, not the thread.

  • When there are pages and pages of answers I don't always read all of them. I simply answer the question that was asked, I'm not responding to everyone else's responses.

  • Well, I think it's because the point is to response to the question, not the thread.

So that makes it ok to give someone blatantly incorrect information?

  • In groups, I read every post unless it's more than 5 pages or so. In Answers, I just read the first page, answer and move on.

  • It takes a lot of time to read every response esp if it is pages long. I don't think moms want to be stuck on one question for that long.
