What kind of laundry detergent do you use to wash baby's clothes in?

I was just curious to see what kind of laundry detergent everyone uses to wash their baby's clothes in.

  • I never used anything special. IMO if you aren't going to do the whole houses laundry in a special detergent then you are defeating the purpose since baby will be laying on your bed, held in you arms touching you clothes and at some point or another wrapped in an adult blanket or towel. If you have family history of skin sensitivities I would till not use deft but a tide clear or something along those lines.

  • Any 'free & clear' brand.

I hate hearing people say "use dreft"... it contains dye AND perfume. My oldest was allergic to it.

  • We never used anything special on the kids clothes when they were babies and neither of them had a problem, no sense on buying more soap if you don't have too.

  • I use All Free and Clear but switch to whatever I'm using on everyone else fairly soon. The only reason I use that the begin with is I already have it to wash my cloth diapers in.
