my hcg levels..please read

i went to the doc tues she thinks that im not that far along ...no more then 4 weeks...could be less..i had blood work done today and my hcg levels were 927.
is that high just to be 2-4 wks preg?

  • i looked it up online and i got these numbers:
    3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
    4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
    5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
    6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
    7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
    9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
    13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
    17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
    25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
    Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml

    it varies a lot as you can see! but accoring to this list 927 is about 5 weeks

  • A lot of things can make your hcg high, including having multiples. But as you can see from the chart above, there is so much variation. When they do your ultrasound you will get a more accurate estimation of your edd.

  • I work for a GYN and see such a wide range of 1st levels...like from 50-400! But we take blood at 2 weeks since the doctor does IUIs & IVF. The ultrasound is a better judge of how far ya are along. Congrats on your baby...or babies! :)

  • My levels at 5 weeks are 110. I have to go back and have them rechecked. I just pray they go up!! As long as the levels rise, then you should be fine.
