  • I feel fine about what I ate. I'm on a low fat, low sodium, no dairy diet and have lost 60 lbs in a year, and I managed to control it on Thanksgiving. I had some turkey, some ham, a little bit of cornbread dressing (which went a little over the fat/sodium limit), a spoon of green bean casserole, mashed sweet potatoes with toasted marshmallow on it (no butter), homemade cranberry sauce, and a low fat homemade roll. Oh and for dessert, a little bit of berry cobbler. But I only ate very very small portions of the less healthy stuff so I did great. I can't over do it on fats because of gallbladder issues, so that helps me to keep it under control.

  • I had been eating low-carb up until yesterday and gave myself permission to eat carbs without worry. I actually kept it really healthy, low-carb wise. I had salad, meatball, 1 chicken strip, and a bite of garlic bread. Where I splurged was on a piece of cake. But I didn't gorge myself or feel full & sick so I think I did a great job.

  • Good? How else should I feel? The food was delicious, if I do say so myself, and there was plenty for everyone to enjoy.

  • I always eat Soooo much food at thanksgiving! I am on a diet this year but it did not change my turkey day eating habits at all! I go to the gym so I will lose any weight that I gained.
