I woke up in the middle of the night with this awful hip pain....normal?

Does this happen to you? I use a pillow between my legs but it doesnt help. I had to put a heating pad on it.. It was so miserable!
Anything else I can do?

  • It may be your siatic (spl ?) nerve. It often becomes "pinched" during pregnancy.
I had this with all 4 of my pregnancies, and the only relief I found was to go to a chiroprator. If you can find a good one, they are awesome, and can help adjust you so that you are more comfortable during pregnancy, and for an easier delivery !!

  • It's normal sadly enough. My hips ALWAYS hurt to the point where I can barely get up in the morning. Try just switching sides everytime you wake up and using pillows.
