Watch your language ~ Pregnancy related.

Words like, "only", "still", "had to", "wont let me", etc all have serious effects on a womens' ability to have a good and healthy labor.

  • I agree.

    "My doctor won't *let* me go past X weeks" or
    "My doctor won't *let* me have a VBAC"
    are a couple of frequently heard examples~~

    I get the picture that a lot of women might not realize that THEY themselves are responsible for their own births. That they hire their doctor (and doc's opinions) but still must choose for themselves.

    Women make their decisions. Sometimes based on their doctor's input, certainly.
    But without investigating it is risky. I agree with you!
