  • If they are inconsiderate and don't pay rent then yes... otherwise no, they are adults but I think they still need to act like it to be treated like one

  • No, but I don't think a 20 year old should be living at home either...

  • yes,but a reasonable one. I'd say be home before I go to bed,or don't come home til morning - but call me 1st -

  • no as long as they arnt waking up the whole house when they come home. now if they are disturbing the house when they come in then you need to sit down and talk with them and maybe lay some ground rules.

  • I didnt have a curfew after i turned 18 but i also worked and paid bills from the time i got out of high school i paid 200 a month plus my car insurance after about a year i was splitting all the household bills 50~50 with my dad so he really didnt tell me when i had to be home b/c i was an adult.

  • I have a 20yr old son who lives at home. I don't give him a curfew because he's very responsible. He works and goes to school, so on the rare occassions he's out late with g/f or friends I don't worry.

  • My son doesn't have a curfew, but I do want him to actually wake me when he comes in so I know he's home safe. The current routine is he calls my cell phone from his, and the volume is low enough so I don't jump. If I don't hear from him by 2ish, I usually wake up and worry, lol...

  • It's your house and your rules. Also a 20 year old is not a child so if he or she wants to be an adult they can move out and set their own rules like a adult does.
