OK, who using the scouting advise and does not let their kids have a friend over, because you are the only adult, and you need two adults to cover your butt

  • If I was a single dad, like you posted about your ex in your other question, YES! Especially if it was little girls. When girls/kids don't get their way and get pissed...they do stupid accuse people of things they really didn't do.

  • No I don't hubby is usually working or sleeping but kids are always welcome-I can understand the rule though

  • I think the other parts of the story concerning your X are WAY more important than the guidelines given to scout leaders. I mean does it really matter if scout leaders try to protect themselves? Your X is a very sick man. I left a more detailed response in your other question.

  • I don't have a problem with being the only adult here when my kids have friends, but I would not send my daughter to sleep over at a friend's house who has a single dad.

  • I'm usually the only adult around when the kids have friends over or when they need to be taken around. I have no problems with that.
