can i take dayquil when in breastfeeding?

what medicine can i take for a cold and continue to breastfeed?

  • check www.kellymom.com but personally I never took anything while nursing. Anything that can dry up your nasal passage could dry up your milk some too.

  • Use a neti pot. Totally safe for nursing and it works much much better than a cold medicine. Cold medicines just work on symptoms. A neti pot will actually help wash out germs and get you well faster.
