  • How about a visit to your local library? They have books, magazines, dvd's, cd's, computers. Plus kids love it, and it will cost nothing!

  • The Holidazzle Parade. Macy's windows downtown Mpls. Many homes decorated for Christmas and some on Summit Avenue in St Paul that are open for tours---mansions built by the Lumber Barons/millionaires a few hundred years ago. LOts of cool things to see---free ,except for the gas for your car! Mall of America!

  • I saw at the Barnes and Noble website today that they have groups like story hour, knitting, writing. Maybe something to look into if there is one near you. Look under "events" on their website or call them. Just one more idea...........
