Do you hide the pickle on Christmas Eve?

We are starting this tradition this year and my daughter is too excited to wait for Christmas!

  • My husband said "That sounds dirty." lol

Anyways, I don't but my mother did a couple years ago. Apparently, and I don't remember this, my son found the pickle but I ate his prize. He sure holds a grudge.

  • This is a german tradition and we are mainly german in my house so we did growing up. DH is mainly irish and we have made the decision to not follow the german traditions as much as we do the irish ones.
