my children did. They were 10, 13, and 16 when their father and I divorced and they did leantoward me more but only because I was their "all the time" parent and knew their every need and my X (their father) never was home except one day a week and slept or went out with is friends during that day and spent no time with the children. I did everything with them in school, work, home etc...

I am a child of parents that divorced 3-4yrs ago and I'm 26. When your older you actually see clearer and it's not really about sides or going one way or the other. My siblings and I my brother was 16 when my parents divorced didn't lean either way. He lived with my mother and my sister and I lived with our father (until we found our own place) just because my mother didn't have room but their was never any side taking or favoritism.
