Leapster TAG ... what do you think of it for a four year old?

  • I also got one for my daughter for her 3rd birthday and she loves it. There's games in the back of the books and it's just overall fantastic. The books are a bit pricey but I think it's worth it.

  • If they are learning to read I think its a great help, just don't expect it to teach them all by itself, you still have to read to them :P
    I'm going to have my daughters grandpa get her one for Christmas :)

  • my dd had a leapfrog reader thing, and she didnt care for it, but each kid is different.

  • I actually got one for my daughter for Christmas this year. She knows all her letters and the sounds they make and she is trying like mad to sound out words so I thought it would be good for her.

  • I'm not sure how I feel about it. I kind of think it may make *some* parents feel like they don't have to read to their kids. It could be great for car trips. travel, etc, though.
