  • Lord have mercy no. I am not the same characteristically as my own mother and I have sisters that are not at all like me or our mother. Tho you may find some similarities, the differences are more prominent than the similarities.

  • Every mother is different just like every person, yes there may be some traits and similarities between moms but there is no one mom that posses the same characteristics

  • Oh gosh no. Some mothers are nurturing while others are not. Some are kind, compassionate, enthusiastic, funny, caring, etc. While others are crude, ignorant, dishonest.... on and on. There are so many differences between us all.

  • No. I never had any children until my husband and I adopted our beautiful Ukranian daughter after 18 years of marriage. We were unable to have our own bio children. I was afraid I wouldn't make a good mother. I am not exactly like my mother and sister and I felt that since I wasn't exactly like them, I may not know how or be a good parent. I found out after 2 more adopted sons, that everyone is different and everyone has a different style of parenting. I think whatever works for you or how you work it is an individual thing. You will find what works best for you.

  • No way! I'm cool - they're not! LOL

Seriously thought - no. Everyone is a different parent just like everyone is a different person.

  • There is something to consider.... it is possible for a woman to believe that if she had a mother who was strong willed and very controlling, then was drawn to friends with those same qualitites.... I would hope God was more creative than that! LOL
