Anyone have a Taco Soup recipe or a Cowboys Soup recipe?

I am wanting to make Taco Soup this evening for dinner. I have ground beef, corn, diced tomatoes, and Ranch Style Beans along with other basic staples. Anyone care to share a quick but good recipe? Thanks!

  • I use 2 lbs of ground beef browned and drained, 2 cans of pinto beans, 2 packets of taco seasoning, 1 packet of ranch seasoning, a can of corn (drained), a large can and a small can of diced tomatoes. I add a little water and then when it's simmered for a while we serve it with tortilla chips, shredded cheese, sour cream, and sliced olives. Yummy. My whole family loves it and it's sooo easy and quick to make.

  • 1 lb Lean ground turkey
    1 Chopped onion
    2-3 Cloves garlic
    1 15oz. can Tomato sauce
    1Small can green chilies
1 15oz. can Stewed tomatoes (can use 2)
4 16oz. cans Beans (pinto, black, kidney, etc. Mix or Match)
    1Packet taco seasoning
1Packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
    2 tsp.Cumin
    1 16oz.Bag Frozen white corn
1/2 cup Water (OPTIONAL-makes it more soupy, and with addition of more canned tomatoes or beans it may not be needed.)

Brown the turkey; add onions, garlic and celery about half way through. One by one add the remaining ingredients. DO NOT DRAIN ANYTHING; JUST DUMP. Heat through. Simmer for a while if you'd like.

NOTE: This makes a huge pot. Can add another 1/2 taco seasoning, ranch, or chili packet to taste. This is the Weight Watcher's recipe. 1 cup = 1 WW point

    This freezes well also.

  • I have been searching all night for a Taco Soup recipe. There are too many!! hahaha. Anyway, this is what I've decided I am going to do for tomorrow nights dinner~~~~~~~~~~1 lb cooked ground beef, 1 can kidney beans, 1/2 pkt each taco and ranch, 1 can corn, 1 can diced tomatos,1 can water, 1 small can tom sauce, 1 small can diced green chiles, Put all in CP around 2 should be done no later than 5. Serve with crisped flour tortilla chips, cheese, and sour cream.
I thought I got Rotel tomatoes but they ended up being an italian blend instead. Also, 2 cans of beans seems to be too much for us and we never eat the leftovers as my freezer is not big enough to store much else.
