Have you ever had a vehicle shipped across the country?

Who do you call to ship it for you? I may drive it, I'm not sure, I'd like to spare it the wear and tear though. I'm still undecided, but if I ship it it will be from the west coast to the east coast, I'm guessing that will cost a ridiculous amount of money...? Has anyone ever shipped their vehicle before? Is there anything I should know before going ahead with it?

  • My husband had a car shipped from NC to Oregon when he got out of the Army. I can't tell you who shipped it, it's been years. I think he paid about $1500, could have been a little less. There were no problems. :)

  • My dad shipped my car from CA to CO and paid roughly a 1000. I can't remember who he used though and all of the detailed but everything went very well.
