How do you get a stain out that has already set?

  • Depends on what it is and what it's on. For most things, I have pretty good success with OxyClean.

  • Shout has a formula specifically for set in stains, good stuff. :) There has been a couple of times I've had to wash the item a couple of times to completely remove the stain, but I can't think of once that it didn't work.

  • That depends on what it is. Hydrogen peroxide works well on protein stains. Enzymes work well on protein and sugar stains (like grass).

  • depends on the stain but I have used Clorox 2 it foams to help get the stain out .

  • Spray with Shout! Let sit a day, then wash. Repeat as necessary.
