Back problems anyone? Painful, burning back aches?

Had an MRI and they say I have degenerative disc disease and disc protrusion, stage 3-4. I see a neurosurgeon on Dec 8th.
Honestly I'm a bit scared. What might they do? Any clues or experience with this?
I am in almost constant pain, sometimes it's bad, sometimes bearable. Surgery would be the last thing I want.

  • Well the good thing is the doctor that read you your mRI has referred you to a nero, tthe nero may suggest you do pT. I just had a complete knee replacement but not before 3 surgies and tons of PT. I call pt my torture chamber but it helps. Good Luck...let me know. Michelle
