  • You don't have to wait. As long as you are over 25 and have had 1 child, they will even do the procedure at the time of delivery.

  • JuliaJacobKyle: Dh is getting it also but I want to get something done. I can't be pregnant one more time. I get so sick is not funny and I'm scared that the vasectomy won't work and he will get me pregnant AGAIN for the fourth time in less than 2 yrs.

  • Four times in two years, I can understand why you would want to take the extra precaution. Still make sure he goes for two clear counts after he has his done. Also, have you looked into Essure? Supposedly it's much easier than getting your tubes tied.

  • I have heard of it but don't know what it is (essure). I gotta google it and see what it is.
