  • Own the fact that you've chosen to stay home and raise kids. There is no shame in it! Stay focused on the job though and don't over discuss family. Make it clear you're interested in the position and why you are capable. Also, you may want to combat any worries they may have about childcare not interfering with your ability to work. Be professional, courteous but have a personality. They may ask your experience in the food industry or not. Chances are, they won't hit you with a ton of strength and weakness questions considering the type of job it is. They probably just wanna know you are reliable and capable and not scary. Even so, be prepared to answer what your weakness are just in case! Good luck! Good for you!

  • Dress professionally, arrive early, bring a copy of your resume, have a firm handshake and look them in the eye, avoid short answers and using "um". And most importantly, act confidently.
