Does your family have any unique holiday traditions?

For example, instead of letting Santa fill the stockings, we fill them for eachother. The girls go together and fill the boys' stockings, and the boys go together and fill the girls' stockings. It saves us from having the fill them on top of getting each other gifts. Plus, the kids love it, too.

  • The only holiday tradition we have is eating the 12 red seedless grapes on new years eve, one for each month of the year. An old Cuban tradition.

  • We find it fun to have one of our male family members like uncle, grandpa, or older cousins, to call the kids and be Santa. It's fun and the kids get blown away by it.

  • We eat pumpkin pie for breakfast on christmas morning. I started it a few years ago, because after a big turkey dinner, who wanted to eat pie? Or enjoy it, with being so full already. SO we eat it in the morning instead, and its' very much enjoyed, whip cream and all! :)
