No pregnancy symptoms?

I'm pregnant with my second child but have almost no symptoms. Two weeks after my missed period, I took a pregnancy test. Actually 3 of them, and all 3 were negative. I was pretty certain I wasn't pregnant, even with the missed period for a couple reasons. One, I have endometriosis, so a skipped period isn't rare. Two, I had naseau and cramps at that time during my first pregnancy. When I skipped a second period, I took another home test and it was positive. I had a little naseau, but felt like nothing more than a stomach ache. I figured I was pregnant the whole time and the first tests didn't pick up the HCG.
I was having extreme pain so I went to the dr. She did an ultrasound, external and internal. Turns out I was almost 3 weeks behind what I thought. But the baby was fine.
I have had NO other symptoms, no weight gain, no naseau, no sore breasts just a few cramps. Should I be worried? I'm 11 weeks today.

Thank you in advance.

  • If your doctor isn't then you shouldn't be. Some people take take harmones differently for each pregnancy.. Consider yourself lucky not being sick.

  • No, be GRATEFUL! LOL

No symptoms does NOT mean pregnancy isn't going along nicely.  Every pregnant is different, even for the same woman.  Hopefully it'll continue this way, and your labor will be perfect, and so will your baby!

  • Count yourself lucky! There will be plenty of time for weight gain later, and it isn't even all that uncommon to lose weight in the beginning of a pregnancy.

  • Your answers are reassuring. Thank you.
I was always told the second labor is easier than the first. That would sure be nice. My first labor was 2hrs 13 mins and practically pain free and problem free. And was ALL NATURAL, no pain meds or nothing.

  • Not everyone has the symptoms you listed, and not every pregnancy feels the same. As long as the doc isn't worried, then relax. Getting all worked up isn't good for you or the baby!

  • Besides my boobs being a little tender, I had no symptoms with my first either. I felt GREAT with him! My second pregnancy we KNEW was a girl! I felt like butt from about week 3-4 to about week 13. My Dr. even said it may just be a coincident, but more women complain about not feeling well when they're pregnant with girls verses boys. Maybe you're having a boy. =)
