How many weeks do you have to be to find out sex of baby with sonogram???

I am having my third sonogram tomorrow and I am 12 weeks. Is it too soon to tell?

  • I think so, I think usually they tell you around 20 weeks... but someone shared a link with me that was helpful when I was 12 weeks and just DYING to know...   • im not sure but i found out the sex at 17wks i think that is the minimum. congrats

  • yes, it is definitely too soon to tell. Earliest is around 16 weeks, but generally they tell you around 18-20 weeks.

  • most doctors wait until 18 to 20 weeks but i found out between 17 and 18
