  • ZERO. Honestly it is not really good to put it in a bottle. I can lead to inner ear issues. If you really want to give cereal, use a spoon.

  • You shouldn't put rice cereal in your infants bottle at all. Rice cereal is not something a baby needs at all nothing more than sugar.

  • Your baby is only 2 months old? Absolutely NONE!!! You never put cereal in a baby's bottle, for so many reasons! If you really think he needs cereal, use a spoon - but he should not have it til at least 6 months old, if ever! Ack. Poor baby :(.

  • None...
    1. he's too young
    2. they can choke
    3. The only reason a baby should have rice in their bottle is for reflux and under the direction of your pediatrician... in which case they would tell you the ratio and you wouldn't need to ask on here.

  • It is a mother's responsibility to know baby basics, especially about things that can endanger their baby. It's good that Cafemom exists for those mothers that really don't know and don't have health care providers for their children that explain things to them. King0913, your ranting and swearing are out of line. It's sad that there was one person that acturally thought directions for putting cereal in bottles is on the box and another mother admits knowing it is not recommended but that she did it anyway. Some people that follow recommendations feel sorrow for babies that have mothers that don't follow feeding recommendations (or don't know what they are).
