Will you take your kids to the snow this year?

Or do you have snow right in your own backyard?

  • We usually go at least once a winter. We can reach the snow in an hour or less depending on where we go. I'd really love to see Yosemite covered in snow this year so we'll probably be doing that. Normally I take my youngest BIL (he's 18 this year) and let him play with the kids in the cold wet stuff while I sit in the car with hot coffee and a good book. I love looking at snow, but not being in it.

  • We had a little already which was great. They're predicting a snowy winter, and if they're wrong, we're going to Michigan for three weeks in January!

  • We don't generally get snow. I wish we did. We're not going anywhere just to see snow though. We can't afford that kind of pointless trip.

  • Took DS to Tahoe for my brother's wedding, and they had a couple of inches. I was showing DS the snow and ice. I spent 3 winters in the snow, and I miss it. I want DS to know the snow! We plan to take him for sure.

  • Hmmm Georgia never gets much snow in the southern parts I dont think. If Kings Bay gets a foot or two or Glen St. Mary's does then we'll be there.....both are about an hour or so away!
