  • The best thing is to live a healthy lifestyle. Drink plenty of water - at least 8 8oz glasses a day. Eat fruits and vegetables - 7-8 servings a day, in at least three different colors. Eat 5 servings of whole grains a day. Eat at least one serving of legumes a day. Cut way back on, or eliminate, meat and dairy

  • If you need a quick fix, prunes should do it. Sometimes apple juice helps. But for a long term answer I like rkoloms responses. Also, you can try Activa or the any store brand of the Probiotic yogurt.

  • Prunes or prune juice are both good, but one of the best thing is eating more fiber. You could even use a fiber supplement.
