could this be teething in a breastfed baby?

She sleeps for only 30 min to an hour then wakes up crying instantly. I put her to the breast and she doesn't exactly suck like she would to stimulate milk rather just kinda gums it, for lack of better words. She does this for less than five minutes then is content to be taken off breast and goes back to sleep, without ever having eaten

  • She's probably just using you as a pacifier.

  • She is 7 mo. Yes she could just be using me as a pacifier but that wouldn't explain the waking up so frequently

  • At 7 months she is probably starting to teeth. Her mouth feels uncomfortable. You can try using frozen teethers and see if that helps.

  • 99.9 percent certainty it's teething. What's the drool report?

  • I haven't noticed alot of drooling. Her gums don't look red or swollen, nor do I feel anything when I rub my finger over them
