If salvation is free, then why does it have to be GIVEN?

  • Love is free... that's given, too. Free doesn't mean it's lying around on the ground to be picked up, does it?

  • little flowerSalvation is the "free" gift of God meaning free to us but for sure not free to God not free to Jesus it COST Jesus his very life to give us the "Free" gift of salvation. It is the BEST GIFT that has or ever will be GIVEN.

  • What I'm saying is that ANYONE can have the gift of salvation if they will accept it. There is not a short supply of salvation, but a lot of people turn it down. In my opinion salvation can not be earned. There is no way we as humans can do anything to earn or pay back our salvation.

  • bow downAlso salvation is the free gift of God not by works or what we do to earn it so that no one can boast and say look what i did ,no way the bible is clear it is a free gift that can not be EARNED but it must be RECEIVED and not rejected.
