  • Unless you have a history of miscarriages and a specific diagnosed cause that can be treated? Nothing, really.

There are general suggestions for overall health during pregnancy, such as taking a prenatal vitamin, getting enough sleep, eating a varied diet, avoiding undercooked foods, alcohol, cigarettes, medications, street drugs, or otherwise high-risk behaviors - but the truth is that you could follow them to the tee and still miscarry or completely disregard and carry a baby to term.

    Case in point: Crack babies.

It's not fair, but it's life.

  • It's unfortunate when it happens and a horrible experience, I've had one after a healthy pregnancy but am now pregnant again and all healthy so far. It's a worry of course but if you have no history then it's not worth stressing about, yes it can happen but so can lots of things in pregnancy, try and relax and enjoy your pregnancy, you will kick yourself for worrying so much otherwise!
