  • no. my mil told my hubby i had a porn site, when it was my twins profile pic on yahoo personals, (and she is a twin herself) and fil told my hubby once when he was drunk he 'tap' that-referring to me, so not too much. sil banned me from her house, (no reason given) but my hubby and kids are welcomed. (hell no!) its a tragedy that no one gets along, we could have a great holiday season!!

  • I genuinely just get along with FIL. I have to be fake nice to everyone else just because I wouldn't like it if DH was rude to my side.

  • I try to but the key to getting along is not to be too involved with their shenanigans.

  • Most of them live out of the country, makes it much easier. MIL and I get along well.

  • As an adult I don't really have a relationship with my cousins or aunts and uncles. I know my dh's family better than mine. It makes me sad because I knew them in childhood, but after my grandmother passed everyone lost touch. Now we only see each other at funerals.

  • I have a really small family (my mom's side) so there is not many people to get along with. I don't see my dad's side and haven't in many years. My husband is not very close with his family, I am nice when I see them, but it is not that often. I guess we are an island unto ourselves :)
