What can I give my 85 year old Father for Christmas?

I am so stuck this year. We lost my Mom earlier this year so this is his first year without her. He likes to watch TV (NASCAR, crime series), go out to eat, and go to church. We got him gift cards to a few restaurants, but I need more ideas. Please help!

  • Get him some of his favorite snacks to eat while he watches tv--nuts, candies, even popcorn if that's what he likes. Or if he doesn't already have one, one of those snuggies to wear while he watches tv. My dad was always cold in his later years, I remember. So anything warm would be a welcome gift.

  • all of the above sound good, but most of all give him your time and attention. Don't forget him.
