Is it normal for a growth spurt to last over a week?

My 3 month old has been eating more, fussing more, and sleeping horribly. The only thing I can think it is, is a growth spurt but it's been going on for over a week. We do go to dr tomorrow.

  • Growth spurts don't have time limits. Your baby's life will be full of them for the next 14-15 years for a girl and 18-21 years for boys.

  • Yes! It is completely possible! My baby was behind on her height.. and 5 months later she had grown over 4 inches. And believe me, she slept A LOT. Just hang in there.

  • Wow, ObbyDobbie way to be rude.

Yes, they can last over a week and sometimes longer. It depends on the baby's body and what exactly is growing.
Just bring it up with your doctor and see what they have to say.

  • Yes. It could be made worse by teething.
