  • I am very careful about making sure not to allow depression to overwhelm me. I force myself to keep in motion with schedules and lists. i allow my depression usually half an hour to an hour a day of crying, hiding in bed, etc I set an alarm clock in fact, and when it goes off, i brush myself off and force myself forward.

  • have a cup of coffee or tea and get moving with housework. I do not dwell on it. Or I start a chore like cleaning out a closet.

  • i put on songs that i know make me sad and i listen to them and cry, i used to eat when i got depressed but it wasnt healthy for me so now i cry it seems to make me feel a little better after i cry like a weight was lifted off my shoulders

  • I talk to my best friend and counsel who happens to be my SO. I have let depression almost take me once or twice so it's very important for me to talk to someone.
