  • I steam all of mine with seasonings and butter, that way all of the ingredients work right into the food.

  • I like roasting, grilling and stir-frying best. My favorite is fresh broccoli that I quickly roast under the broiler. First I mist it lightly with oil and place it under the broiler until fragrant. Sprinkle a little low sodium soy sauce over it and toss it around then stick it back under the brolier for a minute or so. Very quick, easy and delicious!

  • It depends on the veggie. I love grilled zucchini, onions, and peppers, I also like to saute them. I have an amazing recipe for sour cream zucchini that a friend shared with me 30 years ago. I love broccoli, cauliflower and carrots steamed.....and sometimes with a cheese or asian sauce. I also love asparagus roasted, and eggplant baked or sauteed, I love carrots, onions and other vegetables roasted as well.

I guess it depends on my mood!!!

  • depends what it is. fresh - usually just steamed with a little butter/salt/papper. frozen - usually steamed and/or mixed into other foods (casseroles), or with different sauces or as their own casserole side. canned - rarely use, but usually mixed into a casserole.
