  • Container. However, I do prefer freshly squeezed lemonade. :)

  • Since I don't like sweetened oj, only fresh squeezed.

Commercially-produced juice is made by crushing the oranges, which sprays bitter orange oil into the juice --which is foul, I promise you. In order to remove it (instead of not putting it there in the first place, which I think makes a LITTLE more sense, but what do I know?) manufacturers use plain white sugar as a 'process' (not an 'ingredient') --to precipitate out the oil making the juice 'accidentally' sweeter in the process. Damn. Oops. Alas. And, because the labeling laws are weasly, they can actually state 'unsweetened' right on the front.

In the late 60s, some dimwit came up with 'flavour packs' --which are considered (again, weasly labeling laws) to be 'an expected addition' --so the juice also all has concentrated natural and artificial flavours added. Which explains why you cannot make fresh squeezed taste like container juice no matter what you do.

  • I LOVE fresh-squeezed. But, it's not always a cost effective option. :-/
