When you give Christmas gifts do you take the price tag off, leave it on, or mark out the price?

Or any gifts... for that matter!

  • All of the above, LOL. On clothes, I usually just mark out the price so if they need to exchange it, the barcode is still here (because I don't always get a gift receipt).

  • I take off the price portion if I can, or just black through it. I was thinking though, that's one of the benefits of shopping online, almost never any prices on them! :)

  • I take the price off unless it marked in such a way that makes it impossible (maybe its printed on the cardboard or it might rip the package to remove it). If that is the case, then I mark it out. A lot of times I buy things on clearance & really I would rather people not know how much I paid. I get enough jokes all year long about how "cheap" I am.

  • I just take off the price part off the tag. My MIL always removes all tags and I can never return whatever they get me.
