  • I agree with alice....if this is your first baby...you will be surprised at how little you really need and how short of a time you need them for...

I bought my entire wardrobe at the thrift store for less than 50... :)

  • Neither - the secondhand shop! They're usually in great shape, having been worn very little, and it's a HUGE savings!

  • I liked them both, although I thought Motherhood had more dressy clothes than Old Navy, so I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

  • I like them both... Old Navy for most of the basic stuff (they seem to be cheaper), and Motherhood for stuff that's a little dressier. I'd say most of mine is Old Navy, thoughl.

  • i liked motherhood for dressier stuff and swimsuits, old navy for casual stuff, and i got just as much as second hand stores (better brand names for way less cost). i got a few things at other stores like jcpenney but old navy was my favorite for price and fit.

  • I got a few tops at Old Navy. I found that most of Motherhood's stuff shrank. I bought most of my maternity clothes at Sears (the only time I ever bought clothes there) and Kohl's.
