so it is possible to (earlier post i read made me ask)

have braxton hicks really early on???? im only wondering cause i get like badly short of breath and almost contraction like feelings.. but i tell myseld nah theres no way. im only 5 months.... i have figured out that when i get the cramping pains its pretty much when the baby is moving.. cause i get a few fluttering kicks during. i get irritable so fast too...but i get soo uncomfortable when it happens.. so apparently it is possible??

  • Possible yes. Could also be pre-term labor. As long as it's not continuous contractions you should be ok.

  • Actually Braxton hicks can start in the first trimester. My doctor showed me some on an ultra sound at 11 weeks. They are harmless and usually you can't feel them but sometimes you can.

  • braxton hicks usually start around 16weeks (earlier in some cases), and of course some ladies never feel them. Just keep an eye on it that they don't become regular and painful as this can be a sign of labour.
