When is a good time to decorate the outside for Christmas?

My Mom is decorating outside her home tonight.
But I was thinking that two weeks into December is good?.

  • I'm not sure why but my mom always put up the decorations after the thanksgiving meal and the day after that (inside stuff that night, outside stuff the next morning) and then took it all down on new years eve. Kind of our only tradition really since everything else flip flopped due to jobs and stuff, lol. I've decided to keep it :)

  • I started the second week of November and finished today... It's never to early to start decorating for Christmas after Halloween is over...

  • I do in in the first week so I can enjoy it the whole month, because before you know it it is time to take them down again.

  • According to the freaks across the street, November 1.

We do it on any dry day before our Christmas party, which is always the last day of classes...
