How do you pay your babysitter for babysitting?

I am getting a new job and now I need to pay for a babysitter to watch my son for the days I work. How do you do the money part tho? I'm bad with money and never have I ever been a 'boss' to another person(besides my hubby, of course) :)

  • Most babysitters who watch kids full time while their parents work get paid weekly. You might ask the babysitter how she prefers to be paid. Many expect to be paid for the week in advance. How will you be getting paid? Weekly? Every two weeks? you might want to set up payments on your paycheck schedule.

  • If you're using someone who does this for a living, they will already have a set fee.
