  • Formal homework? around 2 hours on weekend. Informally, beyond homework at least 4 hours weekly.

  • My son and daughter get their homework done before they leave school.
Now when there is a paper that is due, I spend about 15 minutes proof reading and then we spend 30 or so minutes correcting and revising.

  • we're not a big fan of homework. The school day is over, why bring it home, too. We don't keep working our jobs after we're off the clock. Plus with his autism and its the end of the isn't worth the amount of stress it causes. I'm not an educator. I don't even know some of these topics anymore. We spend no more than 30 minutes then he's allowed to be a kid and stress down and relax with whats left of his day.

  • Well my son is only 4 so he only gets homework on Fridays. We spend about 1/2 hr on it. During the week I usually work on things with sight words and simple math....all throughout the day. I just incorporate it into our day

  • What motherofhope said. My kids (2nd, 3rd and 5th grades) are responsible for their own homework. If they need help or are struggling I'll help them but otherwise they do it on their own. I already went to school, homework is for them.
