  • One easy way is to cut a circle out of fleece fabric. Measure from your 3 year old's neck to hip (or a little longer). When foded in half, length should be that measurement. Then fold it in half so you have a half circle. In the middle ot the straight egde, cut a half circle (when open it is a circle). Then lay out the fabric and make a 6-8 inch cut from one edge of the circle opening you just did. This allows it to slide over her/his head. Don't make the opening too big . You can always go back and cut a little more. You may have to adjust it a few times. Message me if you'd like. I can go over these directions in more detail if you want. Work with a piece of paper at first if you need to visualize what I mean. There also should be patterns at the Simplicity and McCalls websites or any fabric store.
