The Gall...... I could only laugh

Those dirty old fools, how dare they give the soccer cup to someone else. LOL So what's up with Obama, our President, dissing FIFA because they didn't pick the U.S.?

  • LOL AP biased? Only to the left.
Not sure how you see YAHOO sports being less biased. Mr Martin is obviously biased. Kinda obvious when the first sentence is "Qatar’s victory in the race to be awarded the 2022 World Cup was a triumph for spin over substance and leaves a black mark on FIFA’s already-besmirched name."
Or maybe you want to read this one he wrote that starts out this way. "Because this bidding fight, the one in which a bunch of old guys in suits get together Thursday in a Swiss boardroom, is subject to the skewed rules of FIFA – soccer’s controversial, mysterious and barely credible governing body."

Really Kerpie, most people don't care one way or another but it is typical of Obama to come out swinging when he once again didn't get his way. LOL

LOL- I guess Obama has a great deal in common with many who post on this forum. Human nature, perhaps?????

  • I guess IF you don't like Obama or soccer you will agree that the OP is justified in making a big deal out of this.
Personally I like both. My son and grandsons play soccer.

  • A lot of people in different countries think FIFA behaved stupidly, including my husband. Its reputation has been smirched by corruption allegations, documented by the BBC . Nothing wrong with the President expressing his views.
