has anyone ever done those 6-9 month classes for medical certificates?

like medical assisting, patient care tech, pharmacy tech, etc.

i see ads for it all the time in our local flyer. it sounds too good to be true to me. i know of one person that went to a medical academy and in less than a year was an EMT. im pretty sure he just got lucky with a school that is accredited (cause a lot aren't and then you're screwed out of your time and money). i really want to do something like this but just skeptic that it doesn't really exist.

  • I did the community school classes years ago for medical terminology, medical coding and insurance forms and billing. Applied countless places and had some interviews but never got hired because of the lack of training and experience. So they were a waste of time and money
