50 bucks

So my lovely neice ripped a 50 dollar bill on me, and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could take it to a bank and exchange it. She ripped off about a quarter of the bill and I don't have the small piece. I do have about 3/4 of the bill with the serial number on one side and part of the serial number on the other. Do you think I am at a loss of that money now?

  • Yes. The rule is that you have to have one full serial number and at least a partial of the second serial number.
