Before technology was here, in mainstream society, and we were more primative..

do you remember parts of life having more sincerity? does it seem people are more disconnected and opinionated now? Or was it always this way and people are to blame for this disconnect just being that is our truth in our heart, so comfortable with just convenience and not meeting up, or being sincere. ??

What this question was going to sound like is a bit from my original intent, but it seems that we are all as a world sinking into a planned destiny of disconnectedness due to our wanting to be disconnected. not just something recent.

  • I'm especially concerned on the effect it has on our children. They hardly even call their friends, they just "text" them and call that a conversation. They don't make eye contact or learn to read body language that way. And if they don't see a real person on the other side of the conversation, it's much easier for them to be rude or nasty.

  • We've always had technology. From the moment the first primate picked up a rock and hit a root with it, we've had technology. We also have nostalgia, where we like to pretend all the bad things in the past never happened and only the good things did.
