I had my ultrasound yesterday. By my due date I'm 7 weeks 4 days. The baby was measuring at 7 weeks 1 day. My doctor said she wasn't gonna change my due date. But, why would my baby measure a little smaller?? My son measured right the whole time.

  • behind a few days off is very normal. They won't change your due date unless there's a difference of more than a week between your LMP due date and the gestational age as determined by ultrasound. Your baby may catch up, may surge ahead, then fall back again...every baby is different. They grow at their own rate, there's nothing to worry about.

  • I think I would have asked the doctor

  • Your due date is only an estimate based on your last period, so unless you used certain fertility treatments it would be very hard to know exactly when you conceived. Measuring a few days ahead or behind is very normal. Congrats!

  • if you read the ultrasound it might say 7 weeks 1 day 3 days.
all babies are different, just like adults.
