  • Yep, usually they're complaining about how commercialized Christmas is, yet they're pulling 3 carts' worth of toys to the register......

  • Yes, and No. In fact I talked about both subjects with people I met at Walmart...

  • Yes, I've overheard my fair share of trailer park politics, and on more than a few occasions either had to demand that people move out of the isle as they were having a "prayer" session, or reroute around them. They're nuts. I absolutely loathe trips to wally world.

  • I am not trailer park trash and yes I go to Walmart. If I saw someone having a prayer session I would turn around and go the other way to keep from bothering them. If I loathed the trips I would go to another store.

  • No I haven't heard it personally, but I wouldn't find it strange. As long as they weren't harassing people, or pushing their views onto others, anyway. :)

My husband, though, works at Walmart (yeah, yeah, we do what we can, and honestly I'm just thankful I have a husband who has a job and who works hard to provide for us), and he's been involved in religious/political discussions while working there.... We live in the Bible Belt, though, so I suppose that's only natural...

  • I dont find this strange at all. ppl love talking about religion and or politics. And usually it gets pretty heated. With a religious aspect to things, ppl are searching for answers.

  • Faye, no one said you were. You made an assumption, which is entirely based on your own emotions, not on reality.
