bad kitty!!! kinda long adult content

so my So has this cat, and this is his favorite one he has ever had. i however cannot stand this cat, not because im not a cat person, but because she is horrid.
so heres my question, what do you do when you have a cat that wont stop peeing on EVERYTHING! and i mean everything from the top of the toilet seat lid (without a cloth cover, just plastic) to my children pillows, and now she peed on the clean dishes in the drainer.
i have threatened him with making her an outside kitty, but he is having a hard time with it. is there anything i can do? im about to drop her off at a shelter.
and we have tried everything we can think of to get her to stop. he litter box is always clean, she has a private room to "go" in, litter that she likes, food that she likes. and i have to say this is not a friendly kitty anyways. she doesnt want anything to do with anyone, so we cant love up on her.
please help, i cant handle the smell aymore!!!!

  • Take her to the vet and have her tested for a uti. My sister's cat always pees on things when she has one. As soon as they giver her medicine for it, she stops peeing all over.

  • My girlfriend asked another friend of mine that is a vet tech just the other day. She said that it can either be a urinary infection, or behavioral. So you need to take the cat to the vet and rule out an infection first. She said it is really hard to correct behavior in cats.

  • no shes not fixed, and im pressuring him to do that as well. and we considered a uti, but this is something that she has always done. he has had the cat longer then ive been with him and he just kinda lived with it. YUCKY. so hes not really understanding how disgusting it really is and how serious i am when i say im done with the cat.

  • This is a symptom of a stressed cat. Perhaps your house is not conducive to happy cats --or at least not for this cat to be happy and relaxed?

  • you need to get the cat fixed asap. They mark territory just like a dog. So sorry about the smell, its horrible. Our kitten did this until we where able to get him fixed. We dont have a lover either, he is treated like a king, but hates to be cuddled or hugged on, big ole brat!
