Do you make "homemade "items (year round, not just for Christmas)? What do you make?

  • Year round. I sew, knit, quilt, crochet, also do some graphic arts. I've made many gifts -- my most happily received gifts. :-)

Recently I helped my DD's (High School) Twilight book club make T-shirts with sparkly "Edward" appliquéd faces. Then I couched "Ed Cullen" on them, in a font that looked like that used for Ed Hardy stuff. I used a sparkly yarn that matched the fabric we used for the appliqué. They LOVED it.

  • I crochet whenever I have time! thats about the only thing I do these days that could end up being something I could give away, I also scrapbook about once a year. I get prints from all the holidays and cute little candid pics and for about two weeks I am scrapbooking.

  • I crochet a lot of stuff. Mostly hats and stuffed animals, but I am hoping to branch out over the next year.

  • We made these stepping stones last Christmas for everyone. I want to make some for the cemetary for my mom, dad, sister, grandma, grandpa, MIL, FIL, and even my dad's best friend. He was our neighbor forever growing up so they were good friends.

  • Cards are fun to make year round. The Ben Franklin by my house supplies everything needed to make a free card every saturday. They are usually themed for the nearest upcoming holiday.
